Early access and usage

The early-access offer is per organization — domains, redirects and usage belong to the organization, not to an individual user. If you belong to several organizations, each has its own limits. See organizations for the model.

This manual path lets us understand real use cases before opening self-serve paid plans. If access is granted, the workspace’s existing redirects and settings remain in place.

Viewing usage

From Settings → Plan and usage, owners and admins can see the current domain count and monthly redirects as progress bars. Existing redirects keep working if traffic passes the early-access allowance.

Usage limits and overages

RouteSeam’s rule for infrastructure software: your redirects never silently break because you hit a quota. Instead, limits escalate gently:

80% of quota — a warning banner appears in the dashboard and on Plan and usage so you can review traffic.
100% of quota — a second warning appears. Contact us if you need more capacity.
Significant abuse — only sustained, extreme overuse leads to throttling or suspension, and that is an abuse response, not a billing mechanism.

The warnings are deliberately not punitive: a redirect that has worked for months keeps working while you decide what to do.

API access

The RouteSeam API is available by request during early access. Generate keys under Settings → API keys after access is enabled; keys are shown in full once at creation and stored only as hashes.
